Friends, we’re thrilled to invite you to attend the premier performance of Tustin Music’s very own BRASSHOPPERS band led by manager and instructor Simon Drew.
The Brasshoppers started with a strange and ambitious question: what would happen if we get a bunch of wild brass students (the best kind, of course!) at varying levels of ability and ask them to simply make music together? No sheet music, no formalised structure; just an open invitation for these students to learn how to be creative, to improvise, to listen carefully, and above all to kindle within their hearts the desire to contribute meanungfully to the music they’re making together.
Well, the experiment has reached it’s end, and it’s time to party! Family, friends, and fellow students at TMC are invited to attend and join the fun as we hear the Brasshoppers showing off what they’ve learned over the past three months.
